Materials Needed
- 2 activity sheets (one featuring a jar and the other featuring colourful shapes)
- Marker with duster
- Torch (flashlight)
Step-by-Step Instructions

Prepare the Materials: Set up the activity sheets on a flat surface, ensuring they are easily accessible. Explain that 15 sight words are hidden within the colourful jar — each represented in different shapes (star, circle, triangle, etc.). |

Discover the Hidden Words: Guide the child to use a flashlight from the back of the sheet to reveal the hidden words. Demonstrate the first word so they understand how to look closely and read aloud (examples: yes, two, with, up, etc.). |

Observe and Write: Encourage the child to observe the shape and colour of each hidden sight word. Then guide them to write the word on the second activity sheet, matching the shape and colour they saw in the jar. |

Proceed Step-by-Step: Let the child continue discovering and writing one word at a time. Check their work after every 2–3 words. Praise correct answers to build confidence. |

Praise the Child: Celebrate the child’s effort and progress. Help them remember these words as sight words through repetition and encouragement. |
