Step-by-Step Instructions

Gather Materials: Collect all the materials in one place: the jar activity sheet, the shape activity sheet, a torch and a marker with duster. |

Discover the Hidden Numbers: Hand the child the activity sheet with the jar. Guide them to use the torchlight from the back of the sheet to reveal the hidden numbers inside the shapes (stars, circles, triangles). Encourage the child to read the numbers aloud as they discover them. |

Write the Numbers: Show the child how to write each number they reveal into the corresponding shapes on the second activity sheet. They can use a marker to match the numbers with the shapes. |
