Step-by-Step Instructions

Get Ready: Gather all materials and lay newspapers in the activity area for easy clean-up. Provide a duster or cloth for cleaning hands. Encourage the child to collect a variety of dried/fresh flowers and leaves seen on the ground during the nature walk. |

Explain the Activity Goal: Guide the child on the activity’s purpose, i.e. to paste the collected flowers on the activity sheet using glue and to trace the lines using crayons. |

Get Started: Allow the child to create different patterns while pasting the flowers, leaves, and stems. Let the child observe the colours and designs of the flowers and leaves. Ask the child to name the flowers they collected. |
