Step-by-Step Instructions

Step Instruction
1 Prepare the Setup:
Place the activity materials within easy reach of the child.
2 Explain Task 1 (Circle the Differences):
Say, "Today, you're a detective! Your job is to find the hidden differences between these two pictures. Look closely for small changes!"
Example: "In this picture, the writing board is black, but in the other, it's white! Let's circle that difference."
3 Instructions:
Tell the child to use one colour to circle all the differences. Ask them to find 5 differences.
4 Encourage Participation:
Let the child work at their own pace, offering help if needed. Praise their observation skills.
5 Explain Task 2 (Colour the Missing Objects - Back):
On the back, have the child colour the missing classroom objects.
6 Explain Task 3 (Match Objects with First Letter - Back):
Ask the child to match each object with its first letter (e.g., "P" for "Pencil"). Help by sounding out the letters and guiding them.
7 Positive Reinforcement:
Praise the child with encouraging words like "Great job!"
8 Questions to Encourage Thinking:
Ask questions to engage the child further: • "How does it feel to be a detective today?"
